Immaculate Fools - Hearts Of Fortune (1985) - €5,00

Immaculate Fools were a pop group formed in 1984, who had their biggest success in 1985 with the single "Immaculate Fools", and continued until 1997, releasing six studio albums before splitting up.
In 2015, Kevin Weatherill reformed the group with new members.

The band was formed in Kent, England by two sets of brothers: Kevin Weatherill (vocals, guitar) and Paul Weatherill (bass, vocals), and brothers Andy Ross (guitar) and Peter Ross (drums), the sons of saxophonist Ronnie Ross.

Their debut album, Hearts of Fortune, reached No. 65 in the UK Albums Chart in 1985. The band toured Europe extensively, building a strong following in Spain, where they made several television appearances

"We talk of changes, we talk of may things. When there is sadness we rearrange the dream. Those tainted promises, they fade and die. We forget so easily the love inside. We are enchanted, we are immaculate, we are selected".
Although nominally Immaculate Fools may be counted as a new wave band they go far beyond this genre both in music and in their imagery.
"Oh they came with curious mind, with vision and grace of child through the velvet veil of hope gentle souls, choked with rope and they found their pleasure in truth which they carved in the hearts of men but the hearts of men were false - a waste of time, a waste of breath".
They were one of the subtlest bands of their time and Hearts of Fortune is a solid proof.
