Excellent live performances from a woefully underrated rock band of the 70’s and early 80’s.
Sure they had the great soft rock hits (Reminiscing, Lonesome Loser, Lady, Take it Easy On Me etc.) but they were also a super tight band that rocked pretty hard with the best of their peers during the time. Great songwriting collaborations between the members too.
Sadly, no original members survive in the current lineup of the band that continues to tour under the LRB name.
This album is quite a gem and has some really fantastic songs such as "Paradise," "Light Of Day," "Too Lonely (Too Long) and "Sweet Old Fashioned Man." The album sounds fantastic and fresh, and the harmonies are trademark LRB.
The only thing that dates this album is the cheesy early 80's synth drums which fortunately are used sparingly in the set. If you are a fan of LRB, this should be in your collection. You'll really enjoy listening to it.
