Black Light Orchestra - Het Gebeurde In Het Westen (1978) - €7,99

Black Light Orchestra was a Canadian disco band, active in the late 1970s. The band's core members were producers Michel Daigle and Dominic Sciscente, with studio collaborators including Patrick Norman.
The band released the album, Once Upon a Time in 1978.
All the tracks, except for a few vocals on the last track, are instrumentals. 3 of the tracks are strongly inspired by music from other artist: tributes to their art, if you like.
The Once upon a time album opens with a tribute to Ennio Morricone,  the track "Morricone" couples the well known "Once upon a time in the west" ( spaghetti western with Henry Fonda,Charles Bronson and Claudia Cardinale ) with " A man and his harmonica " in a danceable style.
"Theme for Black light " is a perfect song to follow this disco mood with a girlie choir and a moviescore treat.
"Fifty eight" is somehow an awkward filler but the "Tribute to Barry " is orchestrated in a way that Mr. White could have composed it himself, including Love Unlimited alike vocals.
"From Genesis to Exodus" could also have been a moviescore - in the same Morricone mood - and the final track "Touch me, take me" is just a little bit sexy because of the uninspired vocals.
