P. Lion (Pietro Paolo Pelandi, born on 29/06/1959 in Alzano Lombardo - Italy) is a composer and author launched in dance music market during the Eighties.
P. Lion's achieved international fame with his two hits "Happy Children" (1983, produced by Davide Zambelli of the band Scotch). 
P. Lion's first album Springtime was released in 1984. He contributed significantly to its realization, writing music and lyrics for all the songs, working on the arrangements with Zambelli and Walter Verdi, co-producing and playing keyboards.

Although he made just one album in the 80's, P. Lion (P. Pelandi) is an iconic symbol of the italo disco scene, especially for his wonderful "Happy Children" song. 
This new deluxe edition comes with the 8 original tracks, plus the single versions of Happy Children and Dream and three remixes. 
Although "Happy Children" and "Dream" are excellent songs and stand the test of time, the rest of the album seems like it was made in a rush. 
Of course the other songs included here are nice and enjoyable (especially Springtime and Kings Of The Night) but there's nothing quite brilliant like Happy Children. Still, i do believe that every dedicated italo disco fan must own P. Lion's Dreamtime as a souvenir from the golden age of this much beloved music.
