Maxine Nightingale - Right Back Where We Started From (1976) - €10,00

Maxine Nightingale (born 2 November 1952) is a British R&B and soul music singer. She is best known for her hits in the 1970s, with the million seller "Right Back Where We Started From".

Right Back Where We Started From is the debut album by British R&B and soul music singer Maxine Nightingale recorded and released in 1976 by United Artists.

Right Back Where We Started From album drew little evident critical notice. While praising the title cut as "one of the most engaging singles of the current Top 40", opined that the album overall "fumbles through mild, unexciting ballads (a little like those Natalie Cole does so well) and the [expected] listless disco forays.

RIGHT BACK WHERE WE STARTED FROM of course, is a classic, a song that still resonates wild popularity with the public. Of the 14 songs, it contains all the songs from her debut album, except for her version of Earth, Wind & Fire's REASONS. It includes only 2 songs from her 2nd album, NIGHT LIFE, the UK hit LOVE HIT ME, and YOU ARE EVERYTHING.
There are some really good songs on here, like [ I THINK I WANNA ] POSSESS YOU, which is great, GOTTA BE THE ONE, ONE LAST RIDE, her version of Rufus' YOU GOT THE LOVE, which is pretty funky, and some nice ballads like John Lennon's BLESS YOU and IN LOVE WE GROW.
